Another project from Picture Production Company of London, V3 Group was able to pull off this technically complex and artistically beautiful build for the Fox’s motion picture Die Hard, on time and under budget.

While nothing in the sim matched the unprecedented appearance of Bruce Willis, the Silverscreen Sim presented work that represented the film scenes which included the vehicles - truck, jet, helicopter, and cars that became part of a contest giveaway.

"This show was filmed on Silverscreen Island. I had a lot of fun talking with Dannyboy Lightfoot, (Head of Interactive, The Picture Production Company) and Liam Kanno (The V3 Group) who walking me around the Die Hard set. This is a longer show than usual, but I do think there are some really valuable observations about the process of making interesting spaces like this one, and how it ties into the marketing objectives of film producers and distributors who are experimenting with reaching audiences in Second Life."Cattle Puppy Productions
